Mr Eazi Declares Interest in African Presidency

Popular Afrobeats singer and entrepreneur, Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known by his stage name Mr Eazi, has revealed his plans to contest for the presidency of an African country in the near future.

The award-winning artist, who is married to Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, made the bold declaration in a video shared on his Snapchat account.

Mr Eazi, known globally for hits like “Skin Tight” and “Leg Over,” said he has been reflecting on the idea for some time and feels it’s the right moment to share his vision with his followers.

“I have been thinking about it. I think it’s time to share it with you guys,” he announced. “Some of you might be from some country, specifically in Africa, and you are looking for a president — a president who is not looking for money or power but one who is forward-thinking, young, and active enough to move your country forward.”

The 33-year-old musician emphasized that his political ambition is not driven by personal gain but by a desire to bring innovation, progress, and youthful energy to African leadership.

“So, I’m officially putting myself forward for the presidency,” he declared confidently.

Mr Eazi’s announcement has stirred widespread conversations across social media, with fans debating which African nation he plans to run in and whether his vision could translate from the entertainment stage to the political stage.

The singer, who is also the founder of emPawa Africa, a talent incubation platform for emerging African artists, has often spoken about leadership, youth empowerment, and the importance of economic independence for creatives.
