Nollywood actor Yomi Gold has sparked concern among fans after being hospitalised in Marrakech, Morocco, following a sudden health scare.
Reports indicate that the actor was rushed for urgent medical attention after experiencing a severe headache while on a trip in the North African country. Emergency responders reportedly intervened promptly to stabilise his condition.
Taking to Instagram, Yomi Gold reflected on the experience, describing it as a sobering reminder of how fragile life and health can be. He noted that the incident came unexpectedly and forced him to reassess priorities beyond work and travel.
The actor assured fans that he is currently resting and responding to treatment, expressing gratitude for the medical care received and the outpouring of concern from supporters. His post has since drawn prayers and goodwill messages from colleagues and followers across Nigeria and beyond.
He wrote: “Life truly lives in the seconds.. Today reminded me how fragile our breath is and how quickly everything can change. A sudden headache nearly took me out, but by God’s mercy and the swift help of the emergency team in Marrakech, I am here resting and recovering.
“I give thanks to God for preservation, for life, and for how everyone He used reached out, prayed, and checked on me. May we never take health, time, or one another for granted. Every moment is grace.”
