Lauretta Onnochie Welcomes Goodluck Jonathan’s Meeting with ADC Leaders

Lauretta Onnochie, former media aide to the late ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, has expressed her thoughts on the recent meeting between ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Onnochie remarked that while the attendees of the meeting may not be saints, Jonathan’s involvement in the ADC coalition could be beneficial for the nation’s future.

The meeting took place at the residence of the ADC’s Interim National Chairman, David Mark, in Abuja. On Facebook, Onnochie stated, “This looks good. This is why we are in the coalition. Not as saints. Those who have led before, made mistakes and have learned from their errors would definitely be great for the future of our nation.”

She praised Jonathan for his contributions since 2015, particularly his role as an envoy to West Africa under President Buhari. Onnochie concluded by stating that it would be advantageous for Jonathan to collaborate with prominent figures such as Sen. David Mark, Atiku Abubakar, Rauf Aregbesola, Rt. Hon. Chibuike R. Amaechi, Mr. Peter Obi, Nasir El-Rufai, Abubakar Malami, SAN, and Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba to help rebuild the nation, emphasizing that “a new Nigeria beckons.”
