Destiny Enenche, daughter of Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, has publicly responded to viral rumours claiming she purchased a luxury designer bag with church offering money.
The controversy erupted after a video surfaced online, sparking heated accusations that she was funding a lavish lifestyle using offerings and tithes from the congregation.
Taking to her Instagram page, Destiny dismissed the allegations, clarifying that the bag in question was a gift, not something she bought. She stressed that much of what she and her siblings wear are presents, not sponsored by church members.
“That bag was a gift. Ninety-nine percent of what we wear are gifts, and none of them are from church members. My parents are medical doctors. They don’t need to use offering money for us,” she stated firmly.
She went further to explain that her family does not depend on church funds for their upkeep. According to her, the claims circulating online reflect ignorance about her family’s lifestyle and financial independence.
Meanwhile, Pastor Paul Enenche recently emphasized during a church service that spirituality must go hand in hand with financial empowerment, noting that spiritual gifts alone are not enough if a believer remains financially disadvantaged.
