Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, better known as Blaqbonez, has stirred massive reactions online after openly supporting the idea of an open marriage.
Speaking on the In My Opinion podcast, the Chocolate City artiste said he doesn’t mind if his wife gets intimate with another man while he’s away on tour or busy with work.
According to him, passion and physical attraction in most marriages often decline with time, and emotional connection becomes more important than constant sexual exclusivity.
“Most married couples don’t keep having the same amount of sx they had at the beginning; it naturally reduces. So, if someone else is satisfying her while I’m out hustling or touring, that’s fine. There’s more to marriage than sx,” he said.
Blaqbonez’s statement has since gone viral, triggering mixed reactions — while some fans applaud his honesty, others describe his view as morally questionable.
