A Nigerian lady has stirred reactions online after narrating why her first visit to Pastor Chris Okafor’s church became her last. The lady, identified as Instagram user @preyemiebi, said she attended the service after being invited by a close friend.
According to her, she went with genuine curiosity and an open mind, having no prior connection to the church or its founder. However, the experience during the service quickly changed her perspective. She disclosed that several activities she witnessed made her uncomfortable and raised serious doubts.
She explained that the atmosphere during the programme did not feel authentic to her and did not align with her personal expectations of a place of worship. As the service progressed, her unease reportedly grew stronger.
Before the programme ended, she had already decided not to return, trusting her instincts and walking away convinced the church was not for her.
In her words: “The first day my friend took me to his church, everything he did screamed fake. I never went back. Spirit of discernment is essential in life.”
