In a significant and revealing address, former APC National Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, has declared that President Bola Tinubu is squarely focused on the monumental task of reclaiming Nigeria’s resources from the clutches of illegal foreign exploitation.
The elder statesman delivered this pivotal statement while giving the keynote lecture at the prestigious maiden Joel Babatola Annual Lectures, organized by the Ekiti Council of Elders.
Chief Akande elaborated that the President’s agenda is a robust, two-pronged mission: to strengthen Nigerian unity against “indigenous retrogressive saboteurs and neo-colonialist grumblers,” and to decisively extricate the nation’s wealth from massive illegal foreign control.
He further revealed that the administration’s focus extends to rapid human capital development in science and technology, aiming to equip the youth for the future. This is complemented by an aggressive infrastructure expansion plan in transportation and electricity, designed to foster agricultural and industrial growth by improving the movement of goods between urban and rural areas.
