Hollywood has been thrown into shock as legendary filmmaker Tim Burton and Italian actress-model Monica Bellucci announced their separation on Friday in a joint statement to AFP.
The couple, who went public with their romance in 2023, revealed that their split comes with “much respect and deep care” for each other.
Bellucci and Burton’s relationship captured international attention when the director cast her in his blockbuster sequel, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” (2023), where she played Delores — a Frankenstein-inspired villain seeking revenge on her ex-husband, portrayed by Michael Keaton.
