A fresh wave of violence has struck Angwan Rimi in Kauru LGA, Southern Kaduna, where terrorists killed seven residents, mostly minors, in a late-night attack on Sunday, August 24.
Community leaders confirmed that eight others are critically injured after sustaining gunshot wounds and machete cuts. Victims include children as young as 1, 5, 7, and 9 years old, sparking grief and outrage across the region.
The Irigwe Development Association condemned the killings as “heinous and barbaric” while urging government and security agencies to urgently protect rural communities.
