Nigerian rapper and actor Folarin “Falz” Falana has finally addressed the swirling rumors about his alleged secret wedding, setting the record straight on what really happened.
The speculations began after Falz shared a set of traditional wedding-inspired photos on social media, which instantly went viral and led fans to believe he had secretly tied the knot.
However, Falz revealed that the viral pictures were only part of a creative photoshoot project and not from an actual wedding ceremony.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, he playfully responded to the frenzy, hinting that when he eventually does get married, people might not even notice.
He stressed that while marriage remains on the table in the future, he’s not obligated to share personal milestones unless love truly compels him.
“When everybody realized I wasn’t really married, people said it’s a case of the boy who cried wolf. Maybe when I do get married nobody will care,” he joked.
In closing, Falz added with a witty twist: “It is bold of you to actually assume that if I’m actually getting married, I will share it.”
