Fake Recruitment Syndicate by DSS Officers Exposed in Kaduna as Shehu Sani Exposes El-Rufai’s Dark Legacy

The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested two suspected fraudsters in Kaduna for allegedly operating a fake recruitment scheme in the name of the Service.

According to reports, the suspects—identified as Aliyu Ibrahim and an accomplice—were apprehended following intelligence tips that exposed their illicit operations. Investigations indicate that between 250 and 350 Nigerians may have been duped with promises of DSS jobs.

A security source confirmed that the suspects are currently in custody, while manhunts are ongoing for other members of the network. The DSS cautioned the public not to fall for fake offers, stressing that all recruitment is strictly announced on its official channels.

Meanwhile, former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has launched a scathing attack on ex-Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai. Speaking on TVC’s Politics Tonight, Sani accused El-Rufai of fueling political violence, lacking democratic credentials, and running Kaduna with arrogance and intolerance.

Sani further claimed that during his tenure (2015–2023), El-Rufai bred political thugs who acted as unofficial enforcers for his administration. He contrasted El-Rufai’s rise with his own history of imprisonment and persecution in the fight for Nigeria’s democracy, arguing that the former governor had never truly sacrificed for democratic struggles.
