Veteran Nollywood actor Dele Odule has addressed the wave of cryptic Instagram posts that sparked curiosity and concern among fans, revealing the messages stem from a recent heartbreak involving a university 200-level student.
Speaking during a live session with content creator Kamo State, the actor explained that the emotional posts reflected real pain after a relationship turned sour. He read from the captions that fuelled speculation: “Leaving me is okay. People leave all the time. I’m used to it. What hurts is when you made me feel so special one day and the next day I was so unwanted.”
Dele added that the sting deepened when hurtful words were followed by later apologies: “After you said the meanest thing to me, you now come back to tell me you never meant it. You are mean, but I will crush your ego with silence. I will never allow anyone to make me feel I’m not enough.”
The live session, however, took a lighter turn when a background voice jokingly pointed out the actor had not yet eaten the food served to him, prompting smiles and easing the tension.
