Chelsea Secures Second Place with Burnley Win

Chelsea have ascended to second place in the Premier League standings following a 2-0 victory against Burnley in Saturday’s early fixture.

Heading into the November international break, the Blues carried the momentum of a decisive 3-0 win over Wolves.

Under the guidance of Enzo Maresca, Chelsea started strong with an early goal from Pedro Neto. Neto capitalized on a deft cross from Jamies Gittens to break the deadlock, allowing Chelsea to lead 1-0 at halftime.

Despite Burnley’s efforts to equalize, Chelsea extended their lead with a second goal from midfielder Enzo Fernandez.

This victory places Chelsea at 23 points, one point ahead of Manchester City, who are set to face Newcastle later today. Chelsea remains three points behind league leaders Arsenal.
