Global rap superstar Cardi B has confirmed that she is expecting a child with her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, wide receiver for the New England Patriots, marking a new chapter in her personal and professional journey.
The Grammy-winning rapper made the revelation during an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, which aired on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs,” Cardi B announced proudly — the couple’s first child together. The pair went public with their relationship earlier this year, just months after Cardi’s widely publicized split from rapper Offset, with whom she shares three children: daughters Kulture and Blossom, and son Wave.
Speaking with candor, the 31-year-old artist described feeling empowered and supported in this new chapter of her life. “I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby,” she said. She added that Diggs has been a steady source of encouragement, helping her remain confident despite public scrutiny.
Cardi also admitted to suffering anxiety ahead of the rollout of her highly anticipated sophomore album, Am I the Drama? “Two weeks ago I was literally having a panic attack… just because I was getting really nervous with the whole album rollout,” she revealed.
