Car Hire Operator Calls Out Regina Daniels Over Alleged ₦570k Unpaid Debt

A car hire operator has accused Nollywood actress and film producer Regina Daniels of allegedly owing him ₦570,000 after reportedly using his vehicle and driver for more than a week without completing payment.

According to the operator, about 12 days ago, he received a request from an individual who wanted to hire his Toyota Prado SUV to pick up a client in Maitama, Abuja. The driver was later informed that the client in question was Regina Daniels.

The deal, which was initially handled by a third party, was set at ₦150,000 per day for two days, totaling ₦300,000. However, after the first two days elapsed, the car hire operator said he contacted Regina’s team to end the arrangement, only to be told to continue.

He claimed that Regina Daniels personally assured him that she would take responsibility for subsequent payments.

“I told her I don’t have fuel money, so every day she pays ₦30,000 for fuel from the ₦150,000 and my balance becomes ₦120,000. That’s how we worked for 9–10 days, even at night,” he said.

Trouble reportedly started when Regina Daniels and her entourage were traveling through the private wing of the airport. The operator alleged that his driver informed him they were leaving the city, prompting him to rush to the airport.

According to his account, the actress entered the private terminal and boarded a chartered flight without completing the outstanding balance.

He confronted the female aide who had been communicating with him, but she allegedly insisted that payment had been made — though she failed to present any proof.

The operator claimed he took her to a police station, but she escaped under the guise of needing to use the restroom.

He is now publicly appealing for Regina Daniels to settle the ₦570,000 balance, maintaining that all attempts to reach her have been unsuccessful.

As of the time of filing this report, Regina Daniels has not issued any official response to the allegations.
