The Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) has launched a nationwide initiative to distribute one million copies of the Holy Bible in honour of Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to Belusochukwu Ebere, National Chairman of YOWICAN, the gesture was conceived to celebrate Seyi Tinubu’s contributions to humanity and promote moral values among Nigerian youths.

Speaking at a Thanksgiving service marking the commencement of the initiative, Ebere explained that the Bible distribution will cover churches, schools, and mission centres across the federation.
“We will produce more if one million is not enough to go around the country. This is a gesture to honour Seyi Tinubu for all he has done for humanity. We are targeting churches, schools, and missions,” he stated.
Promoting Christlike Values Among Youths
Ebere further disclosed that YOWICAN’s state chapters would supervise the distribution in their respective regions. He emphasized that the goal is to instill Christ-like behaviours and curb the rise of social vices among Christian youths.
“All states will get enough copies to go around. Many churches and mission schools have already started requesting copies. We must inculcate Christ-like behaviours to address moral decadence among our youths,” he added.
The initiative, which has already commenced, has sparked conversations online about faith, leadership, and the role of religion in national reformation, especially following recent discussions about the relevance of such gestures in the current economic climate.
