The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has taken a swipe at former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, over comments credited to him about Anambra State.
Speaking on The Clarity Zone Podcast hosted by Chinedu Emmanuel (Nedu), Bwala dismissed Obi’s remarks as theatrics, insisting he is familiar with Anambra and could even describe routes to Obi’s residence in Agulu. He claimed to know key locations across the state, disputing Obi’s assertion that he had never been there.
Bwala further referenced Obi’s past statement about receiving advice from a mentally unstable person, alleging he knew the area where the individual once stayed. He argued that Obi projected an unrealistic image during the election, which he described as a carefully constructed political narrative.
According to Bwala, leadership requires sacrifice and structure, adding that many politicians, including President Tinubu, invested years building political foundations rather than selling what he termed “political fantasies.”
