Popular Nollywood actor, Uzor Arukwe, has advised single ladies to focus on self-development and personal growth before expecting to marry wealthy or successful men.
Arukwe gave the advice while reacting to social media comments praising the character “Odogwu,” a billionaire lover he portrayed in the romantic film Love In Every World 2.
Many fans had described Odogwu as their “ideal man,” applauding his loving and generous personality. However, Arukwe used the opportunity to highlight a deeper message from the movie — that true partnership is built on mutual value and effort.
According to him, Odogwu’s love interest in the movie, Chioma, played by Bambam, was already a hardworking and valuable woman before the billionaire began supporting her.
“Odogwu saw Chioma as a valuable woman before throwing his full weight to support her. He didn’t even need to ask what she brings to the table because it was clear she’s an industrious woman,” he wrote.
The actor emphasized that wealthy or “valuable” men are naturally attracted to women who have also built value for themselves.
“So, as a woman, build value for yourself first, and your Odogwu will locate you to become your helpmate that makes everything easier to handle,” Arukwe added.
Arukwe’s message has since sparked conversations online, with many fans praising him for promoting self-worth and mutual respect in relationships.
