The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has approved the redeployment of Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, to a new leadership role as Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Department of Operations, Delta State Command.
The announcement, made in a statement on Wednesday by the outgoing PRO, highlights the Police leadership’s confidence in Adejobi’s professionalism, experience, and operational expertise.
Commending his tenure as Force PRO, the IGP praised Adejobi’s dedication, remarkable contributions, and his efforts in strengthening the Nigeria Police Force’s public image and communication strategies.
Egbetokun further expressed confidence that Adejobi will deliver the same commitment and excellence in his new assignment, ensuring stronger operational strategies in Delta State.
Meanwhile, arrangements are underway to announce a new Force Public Relations Officer in the coming days.
