Nollywood actor Jamiu Azeez has ended 2025 on a joyful note after veteran actress Opeyemi Aiyeola forgave him, bringing closure to a long-standing rift. The actor shared the update on Instagram, describing the forgiveness as his “best gift of 2025.”
Earlier in the month, Azeez publicly apologised to Aiyeola, acknowledging her impact on his career and admitting that his actions had deeply hurt her. He credited senior colleagues and industry mentors for intervening and pleading on his behalf.
Expressing gratitude, Azeez praised Aiyeola as his sister, mother, mentor, boss and biggest supporter, while appreciating her for giving him another chance. He also revealed that the experience taught him hard but valuable lessons.
