Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, has revealed her ambition to collaborate with Nollywood superstar Funke Akindele, describing her as a major source of inspiration. The 23-year-old reality star shared this during the Lagos prize presentation ceremony, where she received ₦150 million and an SUV on Tuesday.
Known for her expressive personality and acting flair in the BBNaija house, Imisi said the show reignited her passion for film. “People saw my acting side in the house; even my fellow housemates said I’m a natural actress. I’m ready to do more,” she said, also citing admiration for Bimbo Ademoye and Bolaji Ogunmola.
Reflecting on her victory, Imisi described the experience as “overwhelming” and expressed gratitude for fan support across the country. Addressing claims that ethnic backing influenced her win, she acknowledged Yoruba support but emphasized that fans connected with her authenticity.
She thanked her Celestial Church community for their prayers and said she intends to use her newfound fame strategically. “Fame is new to me, but I’m ready to learn and grow. I’ll seek mentorship and be intentional about my next steps,” she concluded.
