Reality TV star and Nollywood actress, Bamike “BamBam” Adenibuyan, has spoken candidly about how she manages romantic roles in movies while maintaining her personal boundaries.
In a recent interview on Echo Room, hosted by her husband Teddy A and shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, BamBam explained that although she often portrays convincing chemistry with her co-stars, her real-life relationships remain unaffected.
According to her, acting requires skill and professionalism:
“If people go check my other movies, they will see that I generally have great chemistry with co-stars. Even if there are no kissing scenes, you would believe the characters are married or dating. It’s just my style of acting. But once the director says cut, I return to being Bamike Adenibuyan, take off my costume, and come home to you,” she told Teddy A.
The former Big Brother Naija housemate emphasized that keeping a clear line between work and personal life has helped her navigate Nollywood successfully.
She stressed that on-screen romance is strictly part of her craft, adding that her off-screen life with Teddy A is completely separate.
