In a significant move to revolutionize Nigeria’s agricultural landscape, the Federal Government has officially announced the commencement of applications for the Renewed Hope National Agricultural Mechanisation Programme (RHAMP). This initiative, a cornerstone of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, aims to empower young Nigerians and women in agriculture by providing unprecedented access to modern farming tools.
Led by the Bank of Agriculture (BOA) in partnership with Heifer Nigeria, the programme is designed to nurture a new generation of mechanisation service providers. It offers affordable access to tractors and implements under a flexible, usage-based repayment plan, removing the traditional barrier of high capital costs.
The Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegou, confirmed that applications are free and must be submitted through the official portal, https://boanig.com, before the strict deadline of November 10, 2025. The programme includes a three-year servicing plan and utilizes digital IoT technology for monitoring and maintenance, ensuring efficiency and sustainability.
