APC’s Ex-Chairman Spokesman Dismisses Allegations Against Former Kano Governor Ganduje as Politically Motivated

The spokesman for the immediate past APC National Chairman, Muhammad Garba, has rejected recent corruption allegations against former Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, calling them false and politically driven.

In a statement, Garba, who also served as Kano State Commissioner for Information, dismissed claims of financial misappropriation, overspending through the Protocol Directorate, and land grabbing. He insisted Ganduje’s administration was built on diligence, transparency, and integrity, stressing that all activities were lawful and within approved budgets.

Garba further argued that Ganduje introduced reforms to safeguard public lands and assets, describing efforts to associate him with corruption as misinformation aimed at distracting the public from real governance issues.

“Governor Ganduje’s record reflects decades of service to Kano State. Any attempt to link him with the misdeeds of others is politically motivated,” Garba said.

He urged politicians and the media to avoid propaganda and to address genuine concerns through proper legal channels rather than smear campaigns.
