APC Hits Back at PDP Governors, Says Party is “In Coma” Ahead of 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fired back at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum, accusing the opposition governors of failing both themselves and their party.

This comes after PDP Governors, during their meeting in Zamfara State on Saturday, August 23, 2025, accused the ruling APC of undemocratic conduct and lacking vision ahead of the 2027 elections.

In a statement on Monday, APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, described the PDP as a party “in coma,” plagued by internal crises and rejected by Nigerians.

Morka said:

“The PDP has fallen into ruins and stands rejected. Instead of fixing their ailing party, PDP Governors waste time making frivolous allegations against the APC.”

Highlighting APC’s recent victories in bye-elections across states, including Zamfara, Adamawa, and Kano, Morka maintained that the results reflect Nigerians’ confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

He dismissed PDP’s criticism as “infantile and irresponsible,” urging Nigerians to ignore “empty rhetorics” from opposition governors and to remain steadfast with the APC for a future of prosperity and development.
