Governor’s Aide Alleges BBNaija Was Rigged, Says Dede Was Cheated Because of Delta Origin
A media aide to the Delta State Governor, Ossai Ovie Success, has accused the organisers of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) of manipulating the outcome of the recently concluded Season 10 reality show, claiming that the result was rigged to deny Dede her well-deserved win.
In a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Ossai alleged that Dede — who finished as the runner-up — was “robbed” because the show organisers did not want another contestant from Delta State to emerge victorious after Kellyrae, also from Delta, won the previous season.
“Dede was robbed by the BBNaija organisers because Delta boy Kellyrae won last year. She deserves to win this season, not giving her second position. She was supposed to be the winner — not because she’s a Delta girl but because she made everyone who watched the show proud,” he wrote.
Ossai further expressed disappointment in the show’s credibility, describing the result as unfair and politically influenced.
He went on to reveal that he plans to take legal action against the show’s organisers on Dede’s behalf, insisting that the voting process was manipulated.
“I’ll be suing Big Brother Naija on Dede’s behalf because the voting was rigged. We won’t fold our hands and watch injustice prevail,” Ossai added.
The post has since gone viral, sparking heated reactions across social media, with many Nigerians divided over whether Dede was truly robbed or if Ossai’s claim was politically motivated.
