Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has pledged a smooth and peaceful transfer of power in 2027, promising a landmark political transition for the state. Speaking at St James’ Anglican Church in Iperu-Remo during Christmas service, he said his administration will conclude its tenure “strong and well,” setting a new standard in Ogun’s political history.
The governor highlighted economic growth under his leadership, noting industrial expansion and increased investments that have multiplied the state’s economy nearly fivefold. He also praised President Bola Tinubu for policies under the Renewed Hope Agenda, which he says are delivering results.
Abiodun urged residents to embrace love, peace, and compassion this festive season while celebrating responsibly, warning against excessive alcohol consumption.
