Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, Adolphus Wabara, has affirmed that Abia State citizens will not surrender their mandate to any cabal in the 2027 elections. Speaking at a Grand Civic Reception in Aba for Governor Alex Otti, Wabara stressed that the people’s political will cannot be manipulated or subverted.
He warned that any attempt to impose leaders or influence voters would be firmly resisted, noting that Abians are alert, determined, and committed to free and fair elections.
Wabara praised Governor Otti’s transformative leadership over the past two and a half years, emphasizing that his achievements are measurable and not mere propaganda. He also pointed out that the unresolved crisis within the Labour Party makes the PDP the ideal platform for Otti’s re-election, citing the party’s national reach, tested structure, and experience.
The PDP leader urged Otti to remain focused despite political distractions, stating that the era of intimidation, blackmail, and political brigandage in Abia is over.
