Super Eagles Set for High-Profile Friendlies Against Venezuela and Colombia in November

The Nigerian Super Eagles are set for two international friendlies in November as part of preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) scheduled to hold in Morocco this December.

Nigeria will first face Venezuela on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, Texas. Four days later, the Eagles will take on Colombia on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Citi Field in New York.

Their opponents also have lined-up fixtures ahead of the clashes. Venezuela will face Nigeria after fine-tuning their squad, while Colombia will meet New Zealand in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, November 15, 2025, before locking horns with the Super Eagles.

The two friendlies are expected to provide Head Coach Eric Chelle with a solid test for his team as they intensify preparations for the AFCON tournament.

Beyond AFCON, the games will also serve as warm-ups ahead of Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, where they will face the Crocodiles of Lesotho and the Squirrels of Benin Republic next month.

With the fixtures billed for top venues in the United States, many Nigerian football fans are already anticipating how the Eagles will line up against two tough South American sides.
