Federal Civil Service Unveils Online Accreditation for 2025 Promotions

The Federal Civil Service Commission has officially launched the online promotion accreditation exercise for officers on Grade Levels 14 to 16, aimed at facilitating the upcoming 2025 promotions.

This initiative is part of the Commission’s statutory responsibilities concerning recruitment, promotion, and discipline, as outlined in Circular No. FC.6243l/GOV/2025/VOLI.1, dated May 12, 2025.

Eligible officers are required to complete their accreditation through the official portal at promotion.fedcivilservice.gov.ng. The accreditation process commenced on Friday, September 12, 2025, and will continue until Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Login details will be dispatched to accredited candidates via their registered email addresses, allowing them to access the platform and finalize their accreditation before the deadline.

The Commission has urged all affected officers, including those stationed outside their headquarters or abroad, to ensure they complete the process within the designated timeframe. It emphasized that accreditation is mandatory for participation in the promotion exercise, warning that failure to comply by the closing date will lead to disqualification.
