The Police Service Commission (PSC) has dismissed claims that a new recruitment process for the Nigeria Police Force has begun.
In a statement by its Head of Protocol and Public Affairs, Njoku Kalu, the Commission warned Nigerians to ignore a fake recruitment portal circulating online, stressing that no such exercise has been launched.
The PSC urged the public to rely only on verified announcements, noting that any portal not published on its official website is fraudulent.
This clarification comes shortly after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu declared a national security emergency and approved urgent recruitment into security agencies, including an additional 20,000 police officers and the use of NYSC camps as training depots.
