Spain in Shock as Star Boy Lamine Yamal Withdraws from Squad After Secret Medical Procedure

The Spanish national football team has been thrown into disarray just as their international camp was set to begin, following the sudden withdrawal of Barcelona’s teenage sensation, Lamine Yamal. The shocking exit stems from a medical procedure conducted without the knowledge of the national team’s doctors.

In a strongly-worded official statement, the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) expressed its “surprise and discomfort” at the situation. The federation revealed that its medical department was only informed on the afternoon of November 10th—the very day the squad was to assemble—that Yamal had undergone an “invasive radiofrequency procedure” for pubic discomfort that same morning.

The statement highlighted that the treatment was carried out with no prior communication or consultation with the Spanish national team’s medical staff. The RFEF received a medical report later that evening, which recommended a recovery period of seven to ten days for the young winger.

Citing the paramount importance of player welfare, the federation made the decision to release Lamine Yamal from the squad. “We trust that it can evolve favorably and wish you a speedy and complete recovery,” the RFEF added. This development means the key player will miss Spain’s upcoming crucial matches against Georgia and Turkey.

In related international football news, Slovenia has also suffered a significant blow, confirming that their star striker, Benjamin Šeško, will miss the upcoming fixtures due to an injury sustained while playing for his club, Manchester United.
