In a video statement, President Trump claimed that “thousands and thousands” of Nigerian Christians are being slaughtered by “radical Islamists.” He described the situation as demanding immediate action and revealed he has directed U.S. lawmakers to investigate the matter urgently.
“The United States cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria and numerous other countries,” Trump stated, reinforcing his earlier threat of potential U.S. military involvement.
