Liverpool makes a decision on sacking Slot

Liverpool have dismissed rumours suggesting that manager Arne Slot could be sacked following the club’s dismal run of form, which has seen them suffer six defeats in seven matches and crash out of the Carabao Cup after a 3–0 loss to Crystal Palace at Anfield.

The Reds have endured a torrid spell, losing four straight Premier League games, which has seen them drop to seventh on the table, seven points behind league leaders Arsenal.

Slot’s heavy rotation in Wednesday’s defeat, where he made ten changes to the starting XI that lost to Brentford, drew sharp criticism from fans and pundits alike.

Despite the poor form, reports from BBC Sport confirm there is “not a chance” Liverpool’s hierarchy will consider sacking the Dutchman, insisting that the 47-year-old still has plenty of credit in the bank after winning the Premier League title in his debut season.

The club reportedly remains confident that Slot can turn things around as they look to regain form ahead of crucial fixtures against Aston Villa, Real Madrid, and Manchester City.
