The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) has officially opened its online application portal for qualified teachers interested in joining the state’s public education system.
The recruitment exercise, approved by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the delivery of quality education across Lagos schools.
In a statement issued on Monday, LASUBEB Executive Chairman described the recruitment as a “unique opportunity for aspiring educators to build a career in teaching and contribute meaningfully to qualitative service delivery in the State.”
Who Can Apply?
The board stated that the recruitment is open to holders of the following qualifications:
- NCE
- B.A (Ed), B.Sc (Ed), B.Ed
- HND + PGDE
- BA + PGDE
- B.Sc + PGDE
Application Procedure
Applications must be submitted strictly online via the official portal: https://subebjobs.lagosstate.gov.ng
No physical submissions will be accepted. The process is completely free, and LASUBEB warned that no individual or group has been authorized to collect money for the exercise.
Required Documents
Applicants must upload the following during registration:
- O’ Level Certificate (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB)
- Degree or NCE Certificate
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate (as applicable)
Note: Statements or notifications of results issued beyond two years will not be accepted.
Closing Date
The LASUBEB recruitment portal will close on 14th October 2025. The board urged qualified candidates to seize the opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of education in Lagos State.
