Popular nightlife entrepreneur and social influencer, Pascal Okechukwu, better known as Cubana Chief Priest, has announced his intention to contest for a House of Representatives seat in the 2027 general elections.
The celebrity businessman revealed his ambition on Instagram, confirming he will run on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to him, the decision is strategic and aimed at giving him real influence at the federal level.
Cubana Chief Priest explained that aligning with the ruling party offers a better chance to contribute meaningfully to national issues, including advocacy for the release of IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. He noted that being in opposition limits access to power and the ability to drive impactful change.
Despite mixed political sentiments in parts of the South-East, he maintained that his loyalty to the APC remains firm, stressing that his political journey is guided by long-term goals rather than public pressure.
